Arthur Jackson Doty, 66, of Middlebourne, died Thursday in the
Sistersville General Hospital.

He was born in Pleasants County, son of the late Pearlie and Anna
Eddy Doty. He was a World War II veteran and retired from the Venus
Maid Company in New Jersey.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Britton Doty; two daughters,
Sally Ebert of Paden City and Bonnie Doty, at home; four
grandchildren; two brothers, Marshall Doty of Elwood, IN, and Russell
Doty of Wheeling; four sisters, Goldie Mineaer of Parkersburg, Mary
Bowen of Wheeling, Clara Littleton of Powhatan Point, OH, and Wanda
Wolfe of Belmont.

Services were held at 1pm Saturday at Eckels Funeral Home,
Sistersville. Burial was in the Friendly Cemetery.

John E. Doty, 60, of Route 1, Sistersville, died Wednesday evening at
St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg.

He was born in Pleasants County, a son of the late Pearlie and anna
Eddy Doty. He was a retired city of Sistersville employee.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Wise Doty; four sons, John Doty of
Newport, Rick Doty, Ronald Doty and Timothy Doty, all of
Sistersville; three daughters, Ana Spencer of Sebring, OH, Debbie
Wright of Sistersville, and Sharon Doty of Paden City; three
brothers, Marshall (unreadable)

Services will be today at 1pm at Eckels Funeral Home in Sistersville.
Burial will be in Friendly Cemetery.
