    Mrs. Mary Melissa Barron, 93, formerly of St. Marys, who resided with
    her niece, Mrs. Hazel Evans of Hagerstown, MD, died in Hagerstown
    Monday, June 14.

    She was born in Pleasants County, daughter of the late Archibald and
    Roseanne Eddy Nichols. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist
    Church.

    She is also survived by two brothers, Manley Nichols of Nebraska and
    Ed Nichols of St. Marys; one sister, Mrs. Doris Shafer of St. Marys;
    and several nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, and several
    brothers and sisters.

    Funeral services were held at 1pm Thursday at the Ruttencutter
    Funeral Home with Elder Hubert C. Morgan officiating. Burial was in
    the IOOF Cemetery, St. Marys.

    MRS. MINNIE HAUGHT
    Died May 26, 1976

    Mrs. Minnie M. Haught, 85, of 1509 Beaver St., Parkersburg, died at
    the St. Joseph's Hospital last Wednesday evening.
    She was born in Pleasants County, daughter of the late Arch and Ro
    Eddy Nichols. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
    She is survived by a son, Marvin L. Haught of Canal Fulton, O.; a
    daughter, Mrs. Charles (Darleen) Swearingen, with whom she had resided; two
    brothers, Ed Nichols of St. Marys and William Manlay Nichols of Bellwoo
    Neb.; two sisters, Doris Shafer and Melissa Barron of St. Marys; seven
    grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Haught, in 1929; by
    two daughters, two grandchildren, five brothers and a sister.
    Funeral services were held Saturday at the Vaughan Funeral Home, with
    Pastor Herbert Morgan officiating. Burial was in the St. Marys IOOF
    Cemetery.
