- Mrs. Nancy Eddy Wise, aged 62, years, died at her home near Pine Bank [Greene Co., PA] Sunday morning, Feb. 7, 1937, at 12:55 o'clock of a heart attack.
The deceased was born in West Virginia, Aug. 3, 1869, a daughter of James and Elizabeth Wilson Eddy, deceased. She was the mother of 19 children of which 13 survive along with their father, David Wise, they are; Mrs. Mary Conaway, of Wadestown, W. Va.; Mrs. Rosa Anna Russell, Milton Wise, and Mrs. Nancy Wilson, all of Wana, W.Va.; George Wise, Mrs. Emma Moore, and Mrs. Kate Fetty, all of Pine Bank; Mrs. Jessie Blouir, of Waynesburg; Mrs. Fannie Cross, of Fairmont, W. Va.; Mrs. Ida Stewart, of Kuhntown; Mrs. Laura Loar, Mrs. Ella Steele, and Charles Wise, all of Washington. Three sisters and four brothers also survive, Mrs. Rosen Conaway, of Brave; Mrs. Ada Wise, of Pine Bank; Mrs. Verna Powell, of Fairview, W. Va., Eugeneous Eddy, of Fairview, W. Va.; Jesse Eddy, and Pinkey Eddy, both of Brave, and Isaac Eddy, of Daybrook, W. Va. Sixty-nine grand and five great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Phillips Church near Brave conducted by the Rev. G. D. Watts, pastor of the church. Interment will be in the Phillips Cemetery.
