  Rochester Union and Advertiser June 1, 1900 page 1 Lawrence P. EDDY, a native and former resident of Canoga, died May 9th, at the City of Mexico, aged 57 years. In 1873 he moved with his parents, Dr. and Mrs. H.L. EDDY, to Geneva, where he afterwards graduated from Hobart College, and later from the law department of Ann Arbor University. He first began the practice of his profession in Grand Rapids, Mich., where he had remained until a year ago, when he went to Mexico. His body was shipped to Grand Rapids for burial.
