CHARLES WESTLEY HUNTINGTON, born March 13, 1829, in New London, Conn.; married, July 6, 1858, in New Britain, Conn., Martha Elizabeth, daughter of Norman and Maria Warner (White) Eddy. She was born January 16, 1839, in New Britain, Conn., and died October 31, 1913, in Andover, Conn.
He was a professor of music, and for a long time organist of the South Cong. Church in Hartford, Conn. He was a very successful teacher of instrumental and vocal music. He was also Professor of Music at the State Normal School, in New Britain, Conn.
He was born in New London, and moved to Hartford, Conn., August 12, 1856, where he lived until 1904, when he went to Andover, Conn., where he died October 1, 1908. Mr. and Mrs. Huntington were long residents of Pratt St., Hartford, where he had his studio. They are buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford, Conn. They were Congregationalists.
