  "The Parkersburg Sentinel" -- Parkersburg, WV 22 May 1992 JAMES ARTHUR EDDY 20 May 1992 James Arthur Eddy, 71, of Liberty St., Industrial, WV, died Wednesday at his residence following an extended illness. Eddy was a member of Salem Church of Christ. He was born in Ritchie County, a son of the late Wade and Minnie Higginbotham Eddy. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Dotson Eddy; one daughter, M. Delores "Sid" Carder of Salem; six sons, Wayne, Wade, James "Knuck", Gary, and Michael Eddy, all of Salem, and Daniel Eddy of St. Marys; two sisters, Nancy Belle Owens of Harrisville and Ruby Frances of Parkersburg; one brother, Lee Eddy of Harrisville; 12 grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. The funeral was 11am today at Harbert Funeral Chapel, Salem. Burial was in Cantwell Church of Christ Cemetery, near Mellin, Ritchie County.
