Vol. 1 Page 9 Birth Burrillville Genealogical Research Library Eddy, Ira I , (Index to Census Microfilm). Living in 1848 in Clarke Township, Ontario, Canada. In 1825 Ira is noted in the Clarke Township Census. The family would have arrived in the area just prior to this as they are not found in any early records or census information prior to 1825. They first settled in the Antioch District near Clarke and then found there way to Clarke Township. There are five people listed as members of the family in the household. Old Orono Stones Cemetery was moved to Lawrence Presbyterian Cemetery Lot 21 Conc 5 in Clarke Township. The tombstones were placed onto concrete cairns. Many stones are broken due to neglect and vandalism. Ira and Zoa's stone most likely sunk far down into the earth as it is broken just below his name.
