He is shown as a 50 year old farmer in 1860 US census in Taylor, Cortland Co., NY Listed in the "Cortland Co. 1869 Directory" as lot 48 farmer 88(LR-102). Found Cemetary he was buried in Talyor at end of Elwood Rd). Birthplace according to "Taylor, NY" by David C Crankshaw & Ruby M Potter(Record Book pg 82). Deeded by Noel Seamans foster son and heir to Inman's property Nov. 5 , 1858 to William Eddy , Wilson Elwood , Thomas C. Wentworth , Kelsey Davis , Paris Potter , and Isaac H. Smith as trustees of the Potter Hill Burying Ground. Now surrounded by state reforestation.
