  [S555791] Phyllis Kelly Email phylliskelley@msn.com. Hi The above Eddy is my grandfather and I have for sometime been researching the family line. I could not figure out why my grandfather's death date was incorrect in the 1930 edition Eddy Family book until recently. I have the correct date of death from the estate book of Newberry South Carolina, Box 270, Estate # 10 and an obit and a copy of the grave site. I would be glad to send to you . I will make a better copy of the gravestone when I return home in March. I also plan on pulling copies of the estate records if I can. The correct date of death for George Eddy # 11517 is 15 July 1942. The date did stump me until I discovered whose death date it really is. The death date the book lists really belongs to George Eddy ( #11446) the Uncle of my George Eddy (#11517). This reference is in the estate book of Newberry, South Carolina, Box no# 226, Estate # 7, page 132. The Eddy Family book has been a wonderful resource and I am so grateful for all the work that has been done. I just wish there were references for some of the older information. Is there a place or another earlier publication of the book that gave reference sources for some of the Revolutionary War era Eddy's particularly the Woodbridge NJ side.
