Bailey of Rochester, PA, Betty J. Bailey of St. Marys; two sons, Jennings Eddy Jr., of Parkersburg, and William D. Eddy of St. Marys; one sister, Ruth F. Niday of Charlott NC; 14 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jennings Eddy in 1981; one brother, Ernest Davis; two sisters, Artie Shultz and Myrtle Schultz; an infant son and an infant daughter. He retired after 50 years from the US Corps of Engineers where he was a boat captain. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Harmar Lodge 390, Free and Accepted Masons, both in Marietta. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Doris E. Jackson of Marietta, whom he married Nov. 12, 1929; two sons, harold Eddy and his wife, Lois, of Florida, and Gene Eddy and his wife, Judy, of Marietta; and grandchildren, Michael Eddy and his wife, Karen, Sherry Martin and her husband, Danny, and Cami Eddy, all of Jacksonville, FL, Jennifer Farnsworth and her husband, Matthew, of Marietta, and Carolyn Eddy of New Orleans, LA.
