Kenneth J. Eddy, 88, of Marietta, died Dec. 17 at The Arbors of Mariett
He was born May 31, 1911, in Newport to the late George and Mattie Hull
Eddy. He retired after 50 years from the US Corps of Engineers where he was
a boat captain. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Harmar
Lodge 390, Free and Accepted Masons, both in Marietta.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Doris E. Jackson of Marietta, whom
he married Nov. 12, 1929; two sons, harold Eddy and his wife, Lois, of
Florida, and Gene Eddy and his wife, Judy, of Marietta; and grandchildren,
Michael Eddy and his wife, Karen, Sherry Martin and her husband, Danny, and
Cami Eddy, all of Jacksonville, FL, Jennifer Farnsworth and her husband,
Matthew, of Marietta, and Carolyn Eddy of New Orleans, LA.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Boyd Eddy and John I. Eddy; a
one sister, Gertrude.

Services were Monday at Hadley Funeral Home in Marietta. Burial was in East
Lawn Memorial Park.
