    I finally have a copy of Joseph Walton Eddy's death certificate which states:
    Joseph Walton Eddy born: January 01, 1836. Died March 06, 1909. Cause of death heart failure with Bronchitis contributory, duration 14 days. Born in New York and both parents were born in New York. No names of parents. Joseph was shipped to Iowa for burial. Joseph's wife was still living in 1909, but a Mrs. W. T. Young was the informant. Does this help any as to who his parents were? Please let me know when the new Eddy book is done as I am interested in a copy. Mean while I check out more in Iowa and if I find something I hope to get it back before the book is printed. Laraine Bloor

    We both must have been thinking or had time. I was in Regina yesterday but I hope be going back soon and I'll try to find then. I will need names and dates if you have them. I am using the Family tree program and after much grief I found a setting that allows more generations. Therefor it was me again and not the program. I have been busy tracking down this Fanny James trying to fit her in the famous James boys that the family claimed. I found a Frances James, she was born in Rhode Island, Providence county, that may fit and hoped the Death Certificate would confirm, not yet I'll keep trying if I make that connection. I can take the James family back to South Wales 1630. I'm guessing she was an aunt as she would have been born 1810 -1820. They were born to Robert Sallee and Zerelda Cole, James b.1847, Frank b.1843. Very interesting tree as the James, Cole, Yates and Younger boys rode together for awhile and are all related. The Francis I found was born 1814 -1815 according to 1860 census of Connecticut, Rhode island. Laraine
