    Help!! Seek ANY info on Eddy family of one Frank(?)Eddy who married my ancestor, Mary E. SPENCER-who was b. 1833 in Shaftsbury,VT. Mary was daughter of Charles Wright Spencer,junior & wife, Emily Huntington-both of Shaftsbury,
    VT.
    Found a Mary E.and Frank Eddy in 1880 US census in Bennington County,VT---which is county for Arlington,VT where Mary E. Eddy (according to mention in her father's will) was SUPPOSSED to be living at that time. Also in 1880 Census it shows she has a daughter,as well as a son by Frank Eddy---son being named Charles---which could be, of course, named after Mary's father, Charles Spencer---IF i have the CORRECT household??
    Trying to establish IF THIS IS the case? No marriage certificate available to prove Mary E.Spencer married FRANK Eddy---so does anyone out there recognize this as correct?:

    I had looked for my great-grandpa's sister, Mary's MARRIED NAME for 10yrs--when JUST stumbled -upon it the other day on an extracted will blurb that was posted on a USgenweb site online--

    and then i posted what i knew from that---only Mary E.'s married surname of Eddy--and fact i then happened to find "a" Mary Edddy" married to a "Frank" in 1880 census in Vt---NOT knowing if that was the RIGHT couple,or not.

    So i THANK U A ZILLION TIMES for CONFIRMING i was FINALLY on the RIGHT track. Now---to try and trace-down to my living 3rd Cousins today!! That's the really FUN part----not just the "search" which i love---as i adore "detective" work---but also the fact of discovering a living new "cousin- friend"!!( i JUST found 3mos.ago after 30yrs of searching my 3rd SPENCER cuz---the great- grand- daughter of Mary E's brother Dr.Horace Spencer---and wouldn't ya know it--she (Noreen) was living ALL THIS TIME right UNDER my nose---HERE in Los Angeles County!! Life is strange,eh?

    If you think you need any of the following...here's some info for you---in order to more fill-out Mary E.'s heritage(if wished for).....Her father and mother---as you say ---were Charles Wright SPENCER,jr.(his dad was C.W.Spencer SENIOR)--and jr's wife was Emily Huntington (daughter of Henry (NOT Henry E. the railroad magnate)Huntington (mary e.(spencer)eddy was 6th cousin to Henry E. Huntington).

    Mary E.(SPENCER) Eddy's siblings were two brothers----(my grandpa's dad) Wright C. (known as "Charlie") Spencer b.1842 in Shaftsbury,VT--and their little brother,(Dr.)Horace Spencer b.1846 in Shaftsbury,Vt.

    Once Emily Huntington Spencer (their mother) dies c.1855-Shaftsbury,VT----the rest of the family EXCEPT MARY E.---go with their dad C.W.Spencer,jr.and his 2ND WIFE---(cousin)Lucy B. Draper

    to Plainfield,IL in 1858. This was a pit-stop between VT and where my great-grandpa Wright ended-up in Lincoln,NE in 1869---that i knew NOTHING about! And why i couldn't find my family for 30yrs!
